TVT SV – 3 Year Product Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage
TVT SV CCTV cameras, NVR recorders and CCTV kits are covered by a 3-year back-to-base warranty from the original date of purchase.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware faults occurring under normal use.
Our warranty covers the repair or replacement of faulty products or parts and does not cover damage caused by:
- Incorrect installation, misuse or improper handling.
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
- Accidental damage or electrical surges.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Improper fitting of parts or accessories.
These exclusions do not affect any rights under Australian Consumer Law.
2. Repairs and Replacements
If a product develops a fault during the warranty period, TVT SV will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate repair or replacement.
TVT SV may repair the product, replace faulty parts or provide a replacement product depending on the nature of the fault.
All warranty claims are subject to assessment and applicable warranty conditions, without limiting any rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact info@tvtsv.com.au and provide:
- Original invoice or proof of purchase.
- Product model and serial number.
- Description of the fault.
- Supporting photographs or videos.
- Name of the company or licensed tradesperson who installed the TVT SV product, where applicable.
TVT SV will review the claim and provide instructions for assessment or return of the faulty product.
Return Costs: Customers are responsible for arranging and initially paying for the return of products that can be easily posted. Reasonable return costs will be reimbursed where required under Australian Consumer Law. Customers should retain their shipping receipts and contact TVT SV to request reimbursement. TVT SV will arrange collection or cover return costs where required by law for products that cannot reasonably be returned.
4. Australian Consumer Law
This 3-year warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Consumer Guarantee Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
